Gold winners receive a $300 book credit at R. L. Bryan Bookstore and 1 complimentary registration to the Fall Writing

All winners will be recognized at the Fall Writing Conference where they will receive their banners and trophies. 
Their names will also be printed in the conference program.


 


Learning Initiative Award (LIA)

 

Schools participating in the Assessing for Learning series of professional development sessions sponsored by WIN
and the SDE’s Office of School Quality will be eligible for the Learning Initiative Award (LIA).  The purpose of the
LIA is to recognize incremental changes in curriculum, instruction, and classroom assessment that will lead to
improved student achievement.  Information about LIA was provided to participating schools at the September
series of professional development sessions.
